Data-driven Operations Analytics: Recent Progress and Some Preliminary Results

<p>I summarize some recent work on data-driven operations decision making, mostly on static settings. This strand of literature combines statistical learning with cost-benefit analysis based optimization. I then give some preliminary results on classcial newsvendor problem and financial portfolio allocation.&nbsp;</p>
