Dr. Ao Wang is an Assistant Professor of Economics and a Research Associate at CAGE, University of Warwick. He received his PhD in Economics from CREST in 2020. He also holds a Diplôme d’ingénieur from École Polytechnique and ENSAE Paris, and a B.S. in Probability and Statistics from Peking University.
His research uses and develops structural methods to study policy and welfare questions in industrial organization—such as demand estimation, dynamic pricing, and bargaining—as well as topics in asset pricing and social media. He is also interested in related econometric methods, including panel data, nonparametric estimation, and high-dimensional models.
His work has been published (or is forthcoming) in journals such as the Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Econometrics, and Econometric Theory. |
