题目: Status Incentives and Corporate Giving: Evidence from China's Private Enterprises
摘要：In this paper, we estimate the causal effect of status incentives on charitable giving using a unique survey data on China’s private enterpreneurs and their firms between 1994 and 2009. By exploiting a natural experiment from China’s political reform in the private sector in 2002, we find that the exogenous change in the social and political status of enterpeneurs leads to a jump in the corporate giving of their privately owned firms.
讲座人简介：Jipeng Zhang，匹兹堡大学经济学博士（2011年）、新加坡南洋理工大学助理教授，研究方向为应用微观经济学、公共经济学、行为与实验经济学等，在International Economic Review、International Journal of Industrial Organization、Journal of Real Estate Literature等重要国际期刊发表论文多篇。
